RICHMOND, Va. – (Thursday, July 25, 2019) – Earlier this month, we lost Charlie Slagle, the Kickers Vice President of Community Engagement and Gameday Experience. Charlie contributed greatly to the special community we all enjoy today.
A memorial service will be held at Davidson College Presbyterian Church this Sunday, July 28 at 3 p.m. with a reception to follow in Lilly Family Gallery, Chambers Building, on the college campus.
For those unable to attend, the service will be streamed live on the Davidson College Presbyterian Church Facebook page.
Charlie’s life will be celebrated, and he will be deeply missed by so many.
In lieu of flowers, the family request you honor Charlie’s legacy in two ways. You may make contributions to the Davidson College Charlie Slagle Men’s Soccer Scholarship: Davidson College, Box 7170, Davidson, NC 28035. You may also make contributions to the E2D charity which helps children receive the educational tools they need regardless of their economic situation. E2D was founded by Charlie’s friend, Pat Millen.
