Camp Peery was named the Richmond Kickers Chief Operations Officer in November 2020 after previously working as the club’s Vice President of Sales and Operations starting in July 2019.

In his position, Peery oversees all aspects of the business side of the team’s operation including but not limited to ticketing services, game day promotions, fan experiences, community partnerships, club communications, and corporate relationships. 

Previous to joining the Kickers, Peery spent seven years with the Richmond Flying Squirrels organization working in group sales. He would be promoted to Executive Director of Group Sales during his time and led the department to three consecutive years of sales records.

In his free time, Peery is an avid fan of the University of Virginia sports teams — his alma mater. He also likes to explore the RVA food and beverage scene as well as take some time out on the links.

Chris Jennings joined the Richmond Kickers in June 2019 as the club’s director of ticketing services. 

Chris oversees the day to day ticketing operations as well as other sales objectives. On top of his sales objectives, it is Jennings’ personal objective to get a laugh out of everyone with his “joke of the day” written on the office whiteboard.

Nathan Heintschel enters his fourth season with the Richmond Kickers and his second as the club’s Director of Communications and Digital Media. Heintschel serves as the primary media contact for the club’s front office and first team. He is also responsible for the direction and creation of online content for the club and the club’s social media platforms.

Under Heintschel’s direction, the Richmond Kickers’ Communications and Digital Media department were awarded the 2021 USL League One Starting XI PR/Broadcasting Award and the Peer Voted Best in Communications Award during the 2021 USL Winter Summit.

Prior to his current role, Heintschel served as the club’s Manager of Digital Content and Merchandise during the 2020 season. He previously worked as a communication and digital media contractor for the club during the 2019 season until his promotion to a full-time role in March 2020.

Before his time with the Kickers, Heintschel was the Lead Journalist and Content Specialist for Penn FC (formerly the Harrisburg City Islanders) during the 2018 USL season.

Heintschel holds a Master’s Degree in Sports Management from Millersville University and was a graduate assistant with the school’s athletic department from 2016-2018. Heintschel also holds a BA from Virginia Commonwealth University.

A central Virginia resident since 2001, Heintschel currently resides in Richmond. In his free time, he is an ardent supporter of Manchester United. He also enjoys patronizing the Richmond restaurant scene.

Alyn Carr joined the Richmond Kickers’ staff as the Manager of Marketing and Branding in Spring 2019.

Carr is responsible for assisting with the team’s marketing and branding efforts as well as engaging with fans and partners to improve the club’s marketing and outreach.

Teleportation, but with the ability to time travel as well…there is a whole debate, but I think it should be possible.

Ray Smetanick is entering his sixth season with the Kickers first team in 2022. Managing first-team operations, Smetanick coordinates all travel details, equipment organization, and aids the technical staff in team training sessions while also acting as the player liaison officer. Prior to joining the Kickers, Smetanick attended the University of North Carolina at Wilmington, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science, while minoring in psychology. While in school, he interned and went on to work for the USL Club, the Wilmington Hammerheads FC, for two seasons, helping coordinate match day operations. Smetanick holds a USSF C License.

Tom Pritzl was named the Richmond Kickers’ Director of Stadium Operations in 2021 after working as a gameday manager during the 2020 season.

Pritzl is responsible for the day-to-day operations at City Stadium alongside Drew Norris as well as running the food and beverage operations during gamedays and other stadium events.

Pritzl previously worked as the Richmond Flying Squirrels’ Food and Beverage Operations Manager from 2018-20 after working as the Mobile BayBears’ Director of Food and Beverage from 2016-18. Pritzl also spent time with the Great Falls Voyagers as the concessions manager in 2016.

In his off time, Pritzl likes to explore the RVA food and beverage scene or hit the links.
