The Kickers’ talisman earns a Player of the Month award for the fourth consecutive season

TAMPA, Fla. – USL League One announced on Wednesday that Richmond Kickers’ forward Emiliano Terzaghi was named the league’s June Player of the Month.
Terzaghi becomes the first player in league history to win Player of the Month in four consecutive seasons. The Argentine talisman and reigning back-to-back-to-back league MVP has also won a Player of the Month award five total times – three more than any other player in league history.
“It’s always good to be recognized for your work,” Terzaghi said. “The team put in a lot of effort and work to help achieve it. This Player of the Month award reflects the team’s work as well.”
The three-time reigning Golden Boot winner exploded in front of the net for the Kickers in June scoring five goals including two braces and two game-winners.

“Emi scores goals and we needed him to find his form as we headed into June,” Richmond Kickers’ Chief Sporting Officer and Head Coach, Darren Sawatzky said. “He rewarded the team with valuable goals and his continued professionalism here in Richmond helps the younger players learn and grow. We look forward to him being the threat he is in front of goal for years to come.”
Terzaghi currently ranks third in the league with eight (8) goals scored.
