RICHMOND, VA – (Wednesday, May 25, 2016) – The Richmond Kickers are proud to host an official outdoor viewing party at City Stadium for the USA versus Paraguay Copa America Centenario game on Saturday, June 11.

The USA & RVA Festival kicks off at 3:30 p.m. with live music, interactive fan zone, RVA food trucks and over 20 craft beers on tap before the Richmond Kickers host the Pittsburgh Riverhounds at 5:00 p.m. Then, the United States’ group stage finale will be shown on the largest high-definition, outdoor LED screens in RVA on the main concourse at 7:00 p.m.
After the doubleheader, the party will continue in Carytown at the official post-game party spot, Citizen Burger Bar – 2907 W Cary Street.

Following the global tradition of outdoor viewing parties, City Stadium will serve as RVA’s official fan destination as the only CONCACAF and CONMEBOL-approved and licensed outdoor viewing event in Richmond. The Club & Country Festival will celebrate the highly-anticipated Copa America Centenario, a once-in-a-lifetime event, which honors 100 years of the Copa America tournament.
The historic centennial edition of the South American Championship will be staged outside of South America for the first time and will bring some of the world’s best teams and players including top stars from North, South and Central America and the Caribbean including Lionel Messi, Javier “Chicharito” Hernandez, David Luiz, James Rodriguez, Kaka, Michael Bradley and Clint Dempsey to the United States.
About Copa America Centenario
The Copa America is the oldest international soccer tournament in the world, and has previously been contested only in South America. The Centenario edition of the tournament features CONMEBOL competing against CONCACAF nations across the United States for the first time. The competition begins with a round-robin stage featuring four groups of four teams. Group A consists of the USA, Colombia, Costa Rica and Paraguay; Group B comprises Brazil, Ecuador, Haiti and Peru; Group C contains Mexico, Uruguay, Jamaica and Venezuela; and Argentina, Chile, Panama and Bolivia round out Group D.
