The Richmond Kickers are proud to have representatives on the 2004 Girls and 2005 Boys teams competing in the US Club Soccer inaugural National Player Development Program (PDP) Competition in Westampton, N.J August 10-12. Rebekah Doolittle and Mary Stuart Dunn (2004 Girls) and Kieran Berry, Ka’eo Gonsalves, Charles Nolde and Drew Vantre (2005 Boys) who made the roster of 16 will represent the Virginia NPL this weekend.
“We are proud to have representatives from the Richmond Kickers, including Rebekah on both the 2004 Girls and 2005 Boys teams,” commented Leigh Cowlishaw, Richmond Kickers Director of Soccer. “This is a great opportunity for our players to compete on a national stage and be seen by U.S. Soccer scouts.”
Per current id² and U.S. Soccer scouting priorities, the competition targets top boys born in 2005 and girls born in 2004-05. There will be four boys’ teams and four girls’ teams, representing the New England Premiership (NEP), New York Club Soccer League (NYCSL), NorCal Premier and Virginia NPL.
Good luck to these players, the teams, and the Virginia NPL out in New Jersey!
