From Coach Brian Ownby:
On the performance tonight:
“Probably not the first fifteen, ten minutes we wanted to start the game. After the goal, a great reaction. We started putting them under pressure and I think Lucca had three shots at halftime. I told him to keep shooting. Goals were there to be had against this team. To see the reaction, continue to push, get one right before half – subconsciously I knew it was going to open up in the second half. It was just getting the mentality right, coming off of halftime. Once they got the second, you could just feel the belief in the group and the confidence. They just kept rolling with it.”
