Nil Vinyals placed a beautiful corner kick to the far post for Chris Cole to smash into the net to open the scoring for the Kickers. Terzaghi’s record-breaking goal sealed the comeback victory and earned the Reds another crucial three points.
Union Omaha’s last match was also against Forward Madison this past Wednesday following Madison’s trip to Richmond. Shortly after, he notched a second goal in the 58th minute and kept Forward Madison up 2-0 until an 89-minute penalty goal from Greg Hurst. The Mingos took three points from Union Omaha at Werner Park in a 2-1 upset.
The last time Richmond faced Union Omaha was early in the season at City Stadium. The Reds held Union Omaha to a 1-1 draw in June. Richmond enjoyed a majority of the possession with 55.6%, and had several players with a passing accuracy of 90% or higher and a squad passing accuracy of 82.1%. Ferrety Sousa opened the scoring for Union Omaha with a 31-minute goal.

Richmond and Union Omaha walked off the pitch with a point earned.
This time around, there is even more to play for as Richmond can clinch a spot in the 2021 playoffs with a win while aiming for a home playoff spot with the right results falling their way. All the while, Union Omaha has already clinched a home playoff spot and seeks to clinch the top spot in the league table with a win at Werner Park.
Following the match against Union Omaha, Richmond will travel to Kino North Stadium in Tucson, Arizona to matchup against FC Tucson for the Reds’ final match of the regular season. Kickoff for the match is set for Saturday, Oct. 30, 10:00 p.m.

Richmond Kickers
Ivan Magalhães (#4) is a co-captain in the Richmond squad and his leadership and veteran abilities speak for themselves. Magalhães has a passing accuracy of 79.8%, has an assist to his name, and a dramatic late-goal against North Texas from this month. Magalhães is a rock in the defense and continues to prove his talents on both the attacking and defensive fronts.
Emiliano Terzaghi (#32) is on pace to be the league’s leading goal scorer for the second year in a row. Terzaghi just recently broke Ronaldo Damus’ 2019 single-season goal-scoring record of 16 goals with his 17th against Forward Madison. Terzaghi is within reach of the Kickers’ single-season goal-scoring record of 20 previously set by Kevin Jeffrey.
Jonathan Bolanos (#17) adds bags of lightning-speed pace to the Richmond wing. Bolanos has scored four goals this season and earned an assist. Bolanos favors a good long ball into the corner so he can use his pace and nimbleness to take on defenders and take shots on goal to create chances.

Greg Hurst (#9) is Union Omaha’s leading goalscorer with 11 goals. Hurst also leads the squad in shots (47) and has two assists to his name. Hurst is a two-footed striker having scored 5 goals with his left foot and 5 with his right foot and averages a goal every 179.1 minutes.
Devin Boyce (#20) is a bright attacking player who leads the Omaha squad in assists (8) and has managed to score four goals himself. Boyce has a 76.7% passing accuracy and is a dangerous creator of scoring opportunities.
Evan Conway (#11) is just one goal behind Greg Hurst with 10 goals. Conway recently scored a hat-trick against North Carolina FC and despite playing only 942 minutes this season, averages a goal every 94.2 minutes.
