Richmond Kickers
Midfielder David Diosa (#11) made his Kickers debut at Chattanooga, coming off the bench to play the final 13 minutes of the match. The native of Medellin, Colombia signed with the Kickers after playing five seasons with the New York Cosmos, logging over 40 matches and scoring four goals and adding five assists. Midfielder Luke Pavone (#14) returned to the Kickers lineup in Chattanooga. He has made six appearances this season, including five starts and is third on the team in shots with six. Defender Ivan Magalhães (#4) has appeared in every match this season for Richmond. He leads the club in both clearances (33) and interceptions (16), while tied for the top spot with four blocks.
Fort Lauderdale
Forward Ricky Lopez-Espin (#7) is the offensive catalyst for Fort Lauderdale in their inaugural season. The former Lansing Ignite FC man has six goals this season, one behind Golden Boot leader Emiliano Terzaghi. Midfielder Eduardo Sosa (#10) leads the club with three assists in six matches. He had one goal in 18 matches with Columbus Crew SC over the last two years before signing with Fort Lauderdale before the start of the season. Midfielder Edison Azcona (#21) scored in Fort Lauderdale’s last match, a 1-2 defeat to South Georgia Tormenta FC. He signed with the club after spending time in the Inter Miami CF Academy and the Orlando City SC Academy prior to that.
