RICHMOND, VA – (Thursday, November 13, 2014) – The Richmond Kickers are pleased to announce that forward Jason Yeisley has signed a multi-year contract that will commence with the 2015 season.

Yeisley signed with the Kickers in 2012, starting 56 of 64 games played over three seasons while amassing over 4,500 minutes in a Kickers uniform and contributing eight goals and eight assists. Making a triumphant return to the field after a nearly 10-month hiatus due to injury, the Allentown, PA native finished fourth on the team in scoring, adding five goals and four assists en route to the Semifinal Round of the 2014 USL PRO Playoffs.
Drafted by FC Dallas in the third round of the 2010 MLS SuperDraft, Yeisley made six appearances with the Major League Soccer side, making his professional debut on against the Seattle Sounders, before signing with the Kickers USL PRO rivals Pittsburgh Riverhounds in 2011. Earning USL PRO All-League Second Team honors that season, the 6’1” forward led the Riverhounds with five goals and two assists for 12 points.
Prior to starting his professional career, Yeisley posted 63 career games at Penn State University, tallying 24 goals and 16 assists over four seasons. Finishing his senior season tied for second on the team in scoring with eight goals and five assists en route to an undefeated regular season home record, the two-time All Big Ten Conference First Team selection was named the conference’s Offensive Player of the Year.
