The Richmond Kickers and nTelos Wireless are proud to provide uniforms for the Colombian non-profit organization El Amparo del Niño for their 2014 season. Based in Boyaca, Colombia, El Amparo del Niño educates and seeks to empower children in the most disadvantaged communities, through sports and music. For the past 10 years, El Amparo del Niño has been the home for these children and has strived to provide them with educational and professional opportunities while giving them the chance to participate in a variety of activities.
Their soccer program has given over 500 children the opportunity to participate competitively with a special emphasis on personal values, conflict resolution, integration, respect and cooperation. The Richmond Kickers are proud to support their mission of development through soccer by providing jerseys for all their players, an initiative that aligns with the Kickers vision of facilitating opportunities for all members in the community, to enjoy the beautiful game.
