RICHMOND, VA – (Tuesday, March 12, 2013) –The Richmond Kickers are pleased to bring TOPSoccer, a program offering children ages 4-19 with special needs the opportunity to play soccer, to The Collegiate School in Richmond’s West End this spring.
“We are excited to bring TOPSoccer to the west end of Richmond,” commented Leon Brownlee, Richmond Kickers Director of TOPSoccer. “TOPSoccer is dedicated to bringing the beautiful game to special needs children throughout our community. Expanding to Collegiate provides the perfect opportunity to serve additional children in the metropolitan area.”
The TOPSoccer spring season kicks off this Saturday, March 16 at the beautiful, 80-acre natural grass complex, Hensley Park in Midlothian. In addition to six sessions at Hensley Park, two additional complimentary sessions are scheduled at The Collegiate School – Main Campus on April 13 and April 27.
TOPSoccer offers a healthy, informative and, most importantly, fun extracurricular activity for youth of all ages and abilities. Each athlete is assigned a Buddy to work with one on one. When appropriate, athletes will also play in groups and engage in real game situations. Sessions are tailored to suit the individual needs of each athlete.
At just $25 per player, TOPSoccer offers unbeatable value and each athlete will receive an official Richmond Kickers jersey t-shirt. CLICK HERE to register for the 2013 spring TOPSoccer season, or for information about volunteering.
