CASL SHOOTOUT CHAMPIONS

The Richmond Kickers U12 Boys Elite VCCL team ended their season on a high note and silenced doubters recently by securing the championship title in the highly competitive CASL Shootout in Raleigh, North Carolina. The boys beat out the distinguished Cape Fear Breakers in a barnburner not soon to be forgotten. With the score tied 1-1 at the end of regulation play, it seemed the teams were evenly matched, but that wouldn’t last long. The Kickers rallied together to score in the first half of overtime, and kept control of play long enough to clinch the title and their first championship victory. Way to go guys!
