
RICHMOND, VA – (Friday, August 19, 2016) – The Richmond Kickers versus Charleston Battery match that was suspended in the 21st minute due to persistent lightning on August 17 has been rescheduled for Wednesday, August 31 at City Stadium and will be replayed in its entirety. The gates open at 5:30 p.m. and Happy Hour specials will be available until kickoff at 7:00 p.m. Tickets issued for the August 17 match can be exchanged at Will Call on Wednesday, August 31. Prior to the rescheduled match on August 31, the Kickers will battle Orlando City B in a two-game, home and away series beginning this Sunday, August 21 at Titan Soccer Complex. Fans are encouraged to watch the match live at the official viewing party at Continental Divide, located in the Fan at 2501 W. Main Street.
The two clubs swap home field advantage six days later when the Kickers host Family Fest, presented by Union Bank & Trust and Bounce 2 The Moon and the USL expansion franchise, OCB, on Saturday, August 27. The party starts at 5:30 p.m. with live music, a one-of-a-kind fun zone, RVA food trucks and over a dozen craft beers on tap before the Kickers battle OCB at 7:00 p.m. Admission is only $20 for the whole family before 6:30 p.m. and tickets are on sale now at www.richmondkickers.com.
