
SUPPLEMENTAL TRYOUTS ANNOUNCED
Richmond Kickers U9 to U12 Boys and Girls (2006-2009 birth years), U14 Boys South and Central (2004 birth year), U16 Boys Central (2003 birth year) and U16 Boys North(2002 birth year) will be holding a Supplemental Tryout on Thursday, June 1, 6-7:15pm at Ukrop Park (5300 Ridgedale Parkway, Richmond VA 23234)

RICHMOND, VA – (Thursday, April 13, 2017) – The Richmond Kickers are pleased to announce the tryout schedule for the 2017-18 Elite and Classic travel teams. Committed to providing an unparalleled experience for club members, the Richmond Kickers are RVA’s top travel program, fielding teams led by current and former Kickers pro players and nationally licensed coaches.
Tryouts for the Kickers U17, U18 and U19 Boys Elite teams will kick off the spring schedule on Saturday, April 22 at City Stadium. The full slate of tryouts will take place April 29 through May 15 at geographically-convenient locations throughout the greater Richmond area.

The Richmond Kickers Technical Staff is comprised of Michael Burke, U11-U13 Director, Ross MacKenzie, ADP and U9/U10 Director, Andy McIntosh, U14-U18 Girls Director and Mark Stollsteimer, U14-U18 Boys Director, under the continued guidance of Ihor Dotsenko, Technical Director and Leigh Cowlishaw, Director of Soccer. The Kickers also recently added former pro player Lucas Paulini to lead the new Kickers FUTSAL program, meticulously designed to provide additional emphasis and tactical instruction for Kickers travel players.
With a combined 90 years of experience, the Richmond Kickers Technical Staff guides the club through innovative and high quality youth development programming and excellence in coaching, while providing the highest level of customer service and building upon the club’s unassailable reputation for success on and off the field.
Among other duties, each member of the Technical Staff will act as a main point of contact for his respective age group. In addition, the Technical Staff will serve as a technical liaison between coaches and the Technical Director, collaborate to ensure successful player placement and cultivate positive and proactive communication between parents, coaches and staff, while fulfilling the strategic direction of the club.
