
RICHMOND, Va. – (Tuesday, July 23, 2019) – USL League One announced on Tuesday that forward Dennis Chin has been named to the Team of the Week for Week 16 after scoring the game winning goal in the 1-0 victory over Orlando City B Saturday night at City Stadium. This is the second appearance for Chin in the USL League One Team of the Week this season.
Joining the Kickers in January, Chin has three goals this season in 14 appearances for the Kickers this season. The Jamaican forward posted a passing accuracy of 87.5 percent from 16 passes to go along with his goal that ended a 619 minute scoring drought for the Kickers and giving them their first points in a month.
The Kickers make the trek to Canada this Friday to take on Toronto FC II for the first time this season. Kickoff for this match is set for 4:00 p.m. and will be available to stream live on ESPN+. Keep up to date with all of the Kickers news at www.richmondkickers.com.

GK – Carlos Merancio Valdez, FC Tucson: Merancio Valdez recorded five saves as Tucson earned a crucial 3-1 road victory against Greenville Triumph SC to boost its playoff chances.
D – Colin Stripling, FC Tucson: Stripling put in a dominant display on the back line for Tucson, winning 12 of 14 duels and 7 of 7 aerial duels while making nine recoveries and three interceptions.
D – Callum Montgomery, North Texas SC: Montgomery helped NTSC hold Tormenta FC without a shot on goal as he won 7 of 8 duels, completed 76 of 84 passes and recorded nine recoveries.
D – Jerry Saint-Vil, South Georgia Tormenta FC: Saint-Vil completed 24 of 27 passes and won 11 of 15 duels as Tormenta FC earned a scoreless draw on the road against North Texas SC.
D – Patrick Bunk-Andersen, Toronto FC II: Bunk-Andersen scored the first of two late tallies as TFC II earned a 3-3 draw with Lansing while also recording eight recoveries and completing 48 of 54 passes.
M – Xavier Gomez, Lansing Ignite FC: Gomez scored once, completed 25 of 30 passes and made 10 recoveries in Lansing’s 3-3 draw against Toronto FC II.
M – Devyn Jambga, FC Tucson: Jambga struck a pair of outstanding finishes in addition to winning 3 of 4 duels and recording three recoveries in Tucson’s 3-1 victory on the road against Greenville.
M – Arturo Rodriguez, North Texas SC: Rodriguez completed 55 of 58 passes, created two chances and completed four dribbles in NTSC’s clash with South Georgia Tormenta FC.
M – Luca Petrasso, Toronto FC II: Petrasso completed five key passes and had one assist while also completing 3 of 5 dribbles in TFC II’s comeback against Lansing.
F – Jordan Jones, FC Tucson: Jones notched a pair of assists and completed 14 of 19 passes overall while also recording four recoveries and one interception in Tucson’s win against Greenville.
F – Dennis Chin, Richmond Kickers: Chin scored the only goal of the game, recorded two key passes and completed 14 of 16 passes overall as the Kickers took a 1-0 victory against Orlando City B.
