RICHMOND, VA – (Thursday, January 25, 2007) – The Richmond Kickers Future will kick off their sixth season in the Premier Development League (PDL) on Thursday, May 10th, hosting the Northern Virginia Royals at 7:00 p.m. at Sports Backers Stadium (VCU).

Recent Pro Signee Bulow Also Honored
RICHMOND, VA – (Friday, August 11, 2006) – Richmond Kickers Future midfielder Matt Lacey of the Premier Development League (PDL) garnered PDL All-Eastern Conference honors following the 2006 campaign. Lacey consistently led the Future in scoring, finishing his first year in the PDL with 10 goals and two assists for 22 points. Additionally, he started and played every minute of every game (16), leading the team with 1,440 minutes.

ODURO, SHIRLEY SELECTED IN 2006 MLS SUPERDRAFT
RICHMOND, VA – (Friday, January 20, 2006) – The Richmond Kickers Future of the Premier Development League (PDL) are pleased to announce that forward Dominic Oduro and midfielder/defender Stephen Shirley have been selected in the 2006 MLS SuperDraft by FC Dallas and Kansas City Wizards, respectively.

Defending Eastern Conference Champion Opens Season May 14th
RICHMOND, VA – (Wednesday, January 18, 2005) – The Richmond Kickers Future will kick off their fifth season in the Premier Development League (PDL) against the Northern Virginia Royals on Sunday, May 14, 2006 at 6:30 p.m. at the University of Richmond Stadium. The home opener will follow the Richmond Kickers professional team as the second leg of a doubleheader at UR Stadium.

Richmond Kickers Future Ejected From Post-Season Play
Downed 4-3 by El Paso In PDL Semi-Finals
RICHMOND, VA - (Saturday, August 6, 2005) - Eastern Conference Champion Richmond Kickers Future of the Premier Development League (PDL) came within one goal of the PDL finals, losing tonight to the El Paso Patriots by a score line of 4-3 in the semi-final round. The Patriots were the first to register, early in the match but the Future were able to equalize on a Cristian Neagu penalty kick before the half. Down 4-2 in the final minutes, Neagu tallied his second goal of the night in the 87th minute; however, the Future were not able to level the score before full time was called.
Richmond Kickers Future Capture PDL Eastern Conference Championship
Advance To National Semi-Finals This Saturday
RICHMOND, VA – (Monday, August 1, 2005) – The Richmond Kickers secured the Premier  Development League (PDL) Eastern Conference Championship last night for the first time in the team’s four-year history. After finishing the regular season at the top of the Mid-Atlantic Division table with a career best 12-2-2 record, the Future ousted the Ocean City Barons, 5-4, in the back-and-forth Eastern Conference Semi-Finals on Saturday before ejecting Mid-Atlantic Division rivals Raleigh CASL Elite, 2-1, in the Conference Finals last night. The Future have advanced to the PDL Semi-Finals and will take on the Southern Conference Champion El Paso Patriots this Saturday, August 6th in El Paso. Future Advance To Second Round Of US Open Cup
Travel To Virginia Beach June 29th
RICHMOND, VA – (Thursday, June 16, 2005) – The Richmond Kickers Future (PDL) shutout the Baltimore Colts FC (USASA) last night, 3-0, in the First Round of the 2005 Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup. A pair of goals by Future leading scorer Dominic Oduro and a third goal by forward Cristian Neagu clinched the Future’s position in the Second Round of this year’s Open Cup competition.

Host Baltimore Colts FC on Wednesday Night
RICHMOND, VA - (Tuesday, June 14, 2005) – The Richmond Kickers Future (PDL) are pleased to  host the Baltimore Colts FC of the US Amateur Soccer Association (USASA) tomorrow, Wednesday, June 15 at Sports Backers Stadium at 7:00 p.m. in the First Round of the 2005 Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup. The winner of tomorrow night’s match will advance to the Second Round to face the Virginia Beach Mariners (USL First Division) in Virginia Beach on June 29th at 7:30 p.m. 
Richmond Kickers Future (PDL) Qualify for 2005 U.S. Open Cup
The Richmond Kickers Future were the first team to clinch a 2005 Lamar Hunt US Open Cup berth after the 2-1 win over Raleigh last weekend. The undefeated Future has qualified for the tournament for the first time and will enter the First Round on Wednesday, June 15th where they will most likely face a PDL or USASA team. 
Richmond Kickers Future Face Raleigh In Open Cup Qualifier
Richmond, VA – (Thursday, May 26, 2005) – The Richmond Kickers Future (PDL) defeated the Carolina Dynamo last night, 4-3 in overtime, boosting their record to 3-0-0. With the first four matches of the season doubling as 2005 U.S. Open Cup qualifiers, the Future will face the Raleigh CASL Elite tomorrow night, Friday, May 27th at 7:00 p.m. at Sports Backers Stadium to determine their placement in the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup tournament. 
Richmond Kickers Future Release 2005 Schedule
RICHMOND, VA - (Friday, February 25, 2005) – The Richmond Kickers Future of the Premier Development League (PDL) will launch their fourth season at the West Virginia Chaos on Saturday, May 14th with the home opener set one week later against the Williamsburg Legacy on Saturday, May 21st at 3:00 p.m. at the University of Richmond Stadium. The home opener will be one of three matches that will precede the Richmond Kickers Professional team as the first part of a doubleheader at UR Stadium. 
2005 PDL Alignment Announced
TAMPA , FL – United Soccer Leagues announced Thursday the alignment and operational details for the 2005 USL Premier Development League season. While USL’s professional division will see much change this offseason, the 53-team PDL will see just a few changes. The most significant change in the league is a reduction in the season to a 16-game schedule from 18.
O'Hara Leads Kickers Future With Unscored Upon Weekend
The PDL Richmond Kickers Future ended the weekend with a 0-0 tie against the Charlotte Eagles of the Pro Select League after beating the PDL Williamsburg Legacy 4-0 on Friday. The weekend’s results brought the Future’s overall record to 3-1-4 and 3rd in the PDL’s Mid-Atlantic Division.

Richmond Kickers Future Finish Off Raleigh CASL Elite
The Richmond Kickers Future put together a strong offensive and defensive performance to beat Raleigh CASL Elite 5-0.
Adam Cristman led the team’s scoring efforts with a goal and an assist. John Hartman played his University of Virginia teammate, Cristman, a through ball from about 35 yards out, which Cristman took one touch to control and a second to slot the ball past Raleigh’s goalkeeper, Bart Creasman (the Future’s backup goalkeeper last season). 
Richmond Kickers Future Recent Results
Mark McCormick capped a strong weekend at the Germantown Sportsplex with 2 goals and 1 assist, bringing his weekend total to 5 goals and 1 assist while helping the Richmond Kickers Future to a 3-3 tie. The Future lost 5-3 on Friday to the Carolina Dynamo, killing the Future’s US Open Cup chances. McCormick finished the game with a hat trick, including a 25- yard shot to the far post, but it was not enough for the Future to earn any points in the standings. The Dynamo scored the winning goal against the Future in the 83rd minute, and padded the score with a counterattack goal as the Future tried to recover the tie in injury time.
