The Charlotte Eagles players will interact with kids and share their spiritual testimony. The Richmond Kickers will also be in attendance to meet and greet with fans and sign autographs. Kickers Versus CSD Comunicaciones Exhibition July 25
Tickets are on sale now for the Richmond Kickers versus CSD Comunicaciones exhibition on Saturday, July 25. The Champions of the Guatemalan First Division, Liga Nacional, will take on the Kickers at the University of Richmond Stadium at 7:00 p.m., pending USSF approval. The match marks the first time in history the Guatemalan First Division team will play in Richmond. General admission tickets for this historic international exhibition are $20.00, youth and adult. Courtesy of USL Communications: For the first time since 1997, two USL Second Division level clubs advanced to the Lamar Hunt US Open Cup Quarterfinals Tuesday evening as the Wilmington Hammerheads and Harrisburg City Islanders upset their MLS opposition to advance to the elite eight. Charleston also knocked off an MLS club for the third straight year and the Rochester Rhinos advanced in penalties. [+]

Spotlight on... Adrian Bumbut
Adrian Bumbut has been one of the standout players for the Kickers this season. Born August 17, 1984, Bumbut left his home in Zalau, Romania, at age 14 in order to play for the Stefan Kovack Soccer Academy. His progression led him to the U17 Romanian national team. After a short but life-changing stint with the Olympique Lyon junior academy, Bumbut moved to the United States and was recruited to play soccer at Liberty University. Bumbut was drafted by the Chicago Fire after college, but joined the Kickers shortly thereafter amidst a host of other offers, citing the coaching staff and the area as a major influence on his decision. Kick off your Independence Day celebrations at the Richmond Kickers Fourth of July Bash. Festivities begin at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 4th at the University of Richmond Stadium and will feature a Splash Zone, inflatables, delicious food specials and live music. The Kickers professional soccer game will highlight the event as the Kickers host the Charlotte Eagles at 1:00 p.m. and the first 1,000 fans through the gate will receive a free cup, courtesy of PODS. DELI NAMED USL-2 PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Yomby William earns Team of the Week honors for fifth time this season
United Soccer Leagues named Kickers forward Matthew Delicate this week's USL-2 Player of the Week for his offensive efforts in last Saturday's 2-1 win in Pittsburgh. The Kickers moved to 5-2-5 on the year with the victory on the road with Deli providing both tallies on the night. The two goals put Delicate in a tie for the league lead in tallies with seven on the year, and one point back of Wilmington’s Jamie Watson in points. Meanwhile, Kickers defender Yomby William garnered Team of the Week honors for his solid defensive play last weekend, marking the fifth time the Cameroonian has earned the honors this season.

Ukrop Park's state-of-the-art Musco Lighting System was officially activated last week. The Richmond Kickers Youth Soccer Club Board of Directors were on hand to witness the illuminating spectacle. By all accounts, they were extremely impressed with the progress of the Kickers new home. [+]
