The third and final day of the Kickers pro tryouts concluded Sunday with an early morning full-sided scrimmage session.  At the conclusion, ten deserving trialists, including several with extensive USL PRO experience, were selected to participate in a match versus CASL at Ukrop Park.  The trialists were joined by Kickers regulars Luke Vercollone, Ryan Heins, Stanley Nyazamba, Ross MacKenzie, Sascha Goerres and David Bulow.  The group ended the event in style with a comprehensive 4-1 victory. 

"The tryout was productive as we monitored several potential signings over an extended period of time," commented Leigh Cowlishaw, Richmond Kickers Head Coach and Director of Soccer.  "In addition, the opportunity to observe those players with many of our current squad in a meaningful, competitive match was invaluable at this stage of the year."

Leigh Cowlishaw will continue his search for players when he departs for the USL PRO Combine at the IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida this weekend.
