The Richmond Kickers continue to show why they are considered the top girls program in Richmond and one of the best in the region, as five talented Elite players have been invited to participate in U.S. Soccer Training Centers at the end of September in Northern Virginia. Kickers Elite girls Taylor Alvey, Madison Conyers, Payton Cook, Katie Cousins and Seeley Yoo will participate in the Training Center conducted by Chris Brewer, United States Soccer Federation Regional Technical Advisor. In addition, April Heinrichs, USSF Technical Director for Women’s National teams will be in attendance to observe the players.
U.S. Soccer Training Centers are designed to replicate national team training camps. As the National Governing Body of soccer in the United States, and under the auspices of the United States Olympic Committee, they are empowered and charged with developing the teams that represent the United States in all international competitions such as the Olympics and World Cup. The Training Center Program is an integral part of this process.
Congrats Girls!
