RICHMOND, VA - (Friday, March 12, 2010) – The Richmond Kickers are pleased to announce an enhanced partnership with RoomStore World, the Official Furniture Retailer of the Richmond Kickers, located at 9901 West Broad Street in Richmond. The Kickers and RoomStore World plan to kick off the 2010 season with the Kickers Karnival at RoomStore World on March 27, 11am-2pm. Kickers Karnival at RoomStore World will feature live music, inflatable games, free food for the first 200 visitors, discounts on merchandise and fun for the whole family. Kickers pro soccer players will be available for autographs, alongside the Kickers new mascot, RoomStore Kickeroo. Admission is free.

The Kickers Karnival at RoomStore World will feature live music by local musicians, delicious food courtesy of Chipotle, inflatable games presented by Bounce 2 the Moon, face-painting, giveaways, incredible special savings at RoomStore World and more. Also, soccer fans of all ages will be able to meet the defending USL-2 Champions Richmond Kickers from 11am-2pm and the new-and-improved Kickeroo, presented by RoomStore, will be mingling with the crowd throughout the day. The first 100 visitors will receive a complimentary ticket to the Kickers home opener against University of Virginia on April 3rd.
In addition to special offers available exclusively to Kickers members, RoomStore World will revamp the Best Seat In The House contest, giving lucky fans the opportunity to watch Kickers games from the sidelines. RoomStore Kickeroo is slated to make numerous appearances throughout the community.
