RICHMOND, VA - (Tuesday, February 24, 2009) – Richmond Kickers Indoor of the Premier Arena Soccer League (PASL) will host the Mid-Atlantic Division Championship and the Winchester Impact this Friday, February 27th at 8:30 pm at SCOR, Sports Center of Richmond. Finishing the regular season with a 7-1-0 record, Kickers Indoor finished at the top of the table and earned the right to host the finale match. All of this year’s indoor matches have been sellouts so don’t get left out in the cold for the most important game of the season! Wear red and support your Kickers Indoor quest for a Championship!
Kickers Indoor and the Impact will meet for the third and final time this season with the Kickers leading the series 2-0. The Impact finished their sophomore PASL season in second place in the standings for the second consecutive season. Residing six points behind the Kickers in the standings, Winchester brings a 5-3-0 regular season record to Richmond on Friday.
The regular season champions opened and closed the 2008-09 season with a pair of wins over the Impact by scorelines of 8-5 and 13-7, respectively. Both matches found the Kickers trailing at the half, leading to second-half rallies to claim the victory. Most recently, Richmond battled for sole possession of first place in the standings, notching twelve second half goals for a season ending 13-7 comeback win on the road.

Tickets for Friday’s Championship match are just $5.00, youth and adult, and can be purchased in advance via RichmondKickers.com. Kickers Indoor Season Passes will be accepted at the door.
