Richmond Kickers announce Futsal Camps for U10-U13 Elite Teams
Professional Futsal Coaching by former Kicker Gerson Dos Santos.
The Richmond Kickers are pleased to announce that our U10-13 Elite teams will participate in a futsal indoor camp conducted by former Kickers Brazilian midfielder Gerson Dos Santos. Futsal is a scaled down version of conventional soccer and the United States Soccer Federation has identified the game as a key aspect in player development. At least 90% of the professional players in Brazil grow up playing futsal and world famous players such as Pele and Ronaldo credit futsal with developing their skill
The cost of the camp is $100 and online registration will be available starting Monday May 27:
Here is the camp schedule for our U10-U13 Elite teams. The camps will be help at Bon Air Baptist Church (2531 Buford Road, Chesterfield VA 23235), and if your son/daughter is unable to attend with their team, please email Gerson (gdsantos08@gmail.com) and he will advise you which camp they can attend instead. The camps are not mandatory, but highly recommended, and the Richmond Kickers Technical Staff believe that our young players will really benefit from more involvement in futsal moving forward.
